Comparisons with Harrison

This may seem cruel or wierd to compare Harrison with Jack Nicholson, but lately I have noticed that Harrison's "do" is channeling that of the Mr. Nicholson's. What do you think?

BFF's

So right now Ben's best friends are two adorable little girls named London and Abbey. Every day he wants to know if we are going over to Abbey's house, or if London is going to come over? He calls for them in Target. "London where are you?" He also calls for London's mom, Kristen. We saw her there once, and I guess he thinks Kristen and London live at Target. I would be so jealous. :) There was also the time that Ben chased Abbey around the house for a while trying to kiss her, but we won't dwell on that one. Ben is always very excited about going to church because he wants to see his friends. Not a bad problem to have. At church, if Ben sees Abbey or London walking to bible class with their parents, he will run up to them, grab their hand, or their parent's hand, and walk with them. It's pretty cute. Here are a couple pictures that capture their adventures. :)

Priceless

I'm sorry but I just have to share these pictures because the faces that Harrison makes sometimes for the camera are just priceless! He's doing great by the way. He just the happiest little thing and always has a smile for me. He loves to talk too! Almost every night we have about a five minute conversation before he goes to bed. I am just positive that he is telling me all about his day and all the things that Ben did to him (good and not so good) when I wasn't looking. I just love my time with him! I am so very lucky!

Terms of Endearment

Well Benjamin continues to amaze me on a daily basis, especially with his knack for picking up words and terms. So I am in bed early this morning (8:30) lightly snoozing (totally conked out) with Ben watching cartoons beside me and Darrel getting ready for work, when I guess Ben starts asking me for a waffle. (Just a side note: when Ben asks for a waffle, he really doesn't want one. He really just wants to get down off the bed to play. He has found that the most effective way to drag his parents out of bed is making us think that he is hungry. Please don't judge us.) So anyways back to the story. Ben starts asking me for a waffle and Darrel said it went something like this- Ben calling to me: "Hey mom, waffle? Waffle? Hey Mom! Mom! (He is having no luck as I wear ear plugs.) Hey Babe! Babe! Hey Babe, waffle?!" Unsurprisingly, I guess I slept through this and had to hear it second hand from Darrel, who was very delighted to tell me about it when I woke up a couple minutes later. I guess I can be happy that he is no longer calling me Beth and has moved on to a more sophisticated term of endearment that I can only hope he picked up from Darrel. Needless to say we let him down off the bed in which he immediately forgets about the waffle (told ya) to run circle's around the swing occupied by a sleeping Harrison and then on to making a castle out of the couch pillows in the living room. And that was just the first two minutes of my day. Oh well, at least my son thinks my name is Babe. :)
